What we mean by conscious dying practice
How Yoga of Death uses death as a teacher — and what this retreat is not (therapy, entertainment, or crisis care).

Conscious dying practice is not morbid performance. It is honest work with endings — literal and metaphorical — through yoga, breath, meditation, ritual, and inquiry so life can move with less armor.
The retreat is educational and embodied. Facilitators hold pacing, consent, and boundaries; you are invited to modulate intensity. We are not a substitute for psychotherapy, psychiatry, or emergency services.
If you are in acute crisis, the kind container is often clinical support first. When a group immersion is appropriate, we use application-first enrollment so the field stays safe for everyone.
